Between 17:45 and 18:15 we experienced another large (30Gbps) DDoS attack affecting all of our services.
Appropriate actions have been taken by us and our hosting partner. The stability of the network has been restored to normal.

During the maintenance window we will upgrade the memory and the operating system of one of our fallback media delivery servers.
Due to time restrictions we were not able to plan the maintenance in the low-hours.

Availability of services
During the maintenance window we expect no disruptions of live and on demand content.
All services except the affected fallback media delivery server will be available during the maintenance window.
During the maintenance window the affected fallback media delivery server will be disabled and will not be available. This means that live stream encoders which are configured to connect to this server (fl5.sz.xlcdn.com) will not be able to and will probably report errors. As long as your encoder is able to connect to the primary media delivery server your live stream will not be affected.

As of Friday 7 Dec 2012, approx. 13:00 CET, we are experiencing a database performance issue. This issue is causing:
• slow processing of uploaded assets
• sluggish response of the management web interface
• SOAP API connectivity problems

The delivery of assets, i.e. the media services are not affected.

We are investigating what the cause of the issue might be and will try to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
